Genetics is just one more addition that rabbit raisers have requested. Done with the user in mind, no reporting back to the programmer, do it yourself. Stibbar comes with the tools you need to intelligently get the colors you desire.

Each Rabbit in your barn gets a genetic record. This record is tied into the record card and the pedigree. Each rabbit that has a pedigree has a basic genetic record for it's ancestory. That creates a lineage Using the genetic base that you have modified for each animal in your barn, you can view the guarenteed colors that rabbits in your barn can produce.

You can modify this basic genetic record to reflect what an individual rabbit has for it's recessives. This genetic record can be edited to reflect the recessive genes that you know to be true about each of the ancestors. Using the genetic list that you have personally modified, you can find out what colors are needed to add to your herd to get the colors you desire.

Two black rabbits in your barn may not have the same recessives. Edit them so that you see what can be produced. Sharing in your community of rabbit raisers, complete each genetic sequence for your herd and it's ancestors.
Combining the rabbits in your barn with your pe rsonalized genetic list, you can find out what new genes need to be added to your barn to obtain certain colors.
